Was hoping it would go a certain direction, but it's still good. Feels more ambient, in my opinion, with a touch of 'dustrial tones. Kind of fits into a movie with an uneasy scene. Like, we the viewer, are following this young mother whom is being stalked by this non-apparent stranger, in an old industrialized district. Is he going to kill her? Take her baby away and hold it face down onto a boiler/steamer pipe?
Whatever the case may be, it invokes a feeling that things might turn primal. Good sub

AliceMako responds:

Interesting perspective, thanks for sharing.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Thanks brah thats radical

Siren killed the riff so I couldn't hear it as well as I'd like to have.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Understandable.

aside from the recording, again, good riffs in here. couldn't really hear the drums as clear as everything else, but as we approach your newer songs, I'm sure you've addressed the input audio recording issue.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Thank you, people! x2

Gotta hook all that up to the preamp but yes, very very nice riffs in here. Liking it!

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Thank you, people!

reminds me of my old boxcar days.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Do you happen to have a sun hat, with a bunch of holes?

I'm officially scared of you now.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Boo.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this was the most touching, impressive piece I have heard yet, here on Newgrounds.
Tremendous job.

Step responds:

That's massive praise man. Thank you!

Reminds me of the specific decade I was playing SNES. Innocent youth, with this emerging, dark presence, yet it's warmly inviting.
You build up an expectation within this riff, which slowly evolves into an ongoing melody that just puts you in a trance. Once you physically realize this is happening while listening to your track, I then realize it's been 20 minutes, I've been staring at my computer desk, and the sudden urge to put this on a USB stick for those road trips! Awesome job on this.
The only thing I could compare it to, is 'Space' by 'the Butthole Surfers'. Which is entirely a good thing!

mistarogerz responds:

I was wondering if you ever put it on your USB stick and went out for that road trip?

It's all 80's to me, brother.
Feels like I'm watching one of those old tapes, that has a montage in it - It just works!
Keep on keeping on, record!

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Yeah, it's an 80s song, alright.

Thanks for your beloved reviews.

I'm really trying hard to find a music program that doesn't mutilate my wallet, the one I used to make this song was nice, I might try it again.
