Now, onto the video:
Great writing, subtle, yet still decent animation. The artwork could be better, but it wasn't bad at all, and it got the job done, and most likely in a fast amount of time, I will estimate. Going to check your other works now.

That's a whole lotta Mark.
Awesome job, Dan & Mark. Y'all did it up!

This belongs on youtube.
Great documentary, though.

GeekyAnime responds:

Already is!

I don't know why that bloody bear and bunny boo boo won and this didn't.
This is 1000% better, and has way more talent implemented. The animation is simply some of the best featured on NG, and the music and VA is beyond superb.
I don't get it. Newgrounds sometimes urks my urkel.
This is golden. You should just make a movie, even if it used less than half of what awesomeness we see here. Godspeed Harry.

Change the audio track to a non-copyrighted song ASAP.
You'll have this submission blammed in no time if you leave it the way it is.
Just find a CC3 licensed song to replace it with, otherwise, you're committing copyright infringement.
And remember to credit your audio artist.
Nice & slick work on your reel, though! Good stuff

The perspectives and proportions were out of whack, but the animation frames, and the functionality seemed to balance those overshadowing attributes, showing more of a positive than a negative - and it does show that a lot went into this, in terms of creativity and labor. Giving a four, but in my heart, a five is more deserving. Will heart you as a creator, as I'd love to see where your talent will go next!

Time is one heavy factor in animation.
The other being skill, and the creative drive to force yourself into displaying your story through your characters and expression.
It's a test, so of course it's not going to showcase you at your best, however I believe you could have kept this in the 'dumping grounds' section of NG.
People are bound to give negative feedback, not to be mean, but hopefully to guide you to success in improving your craft - but if you don't have time as you say, then how can you devote further time into a final, complete package?
Priorities. I'd say, drop the videogames for a full month, do tutorials, stop hanging with friends just for a few days, or weeks, and see what kind of work comes out of it. I'd be willing to bet you'd be happier with the results once you see them.
Good luck with the future, SharkCartoons.

Keep this shit on youtube.
Sorry. I do find it entertaining, but Newgrounds is more centered for artistic endeavors, and most of the community, specifically the authoritative/moderative folks generally frown upon live action material, unless there's a good amount of animation composited in.
What I think you'd benefit from, is rotoscoping your live action stuff. It would keep its entertaining quality, while staying faithful to what Newgrounds is all about; the arts.

nuFF3 responds:

Actually, I was honestly going to try and do rotoscoping, but that did take me waaaaaaaay to long. But I could try and do it again, only keeping the key frames, passing positions, and a few other frames to keep the framerate smooth. Hmmm.
I'm kinda wondering why they actually let my derp.movies series pass thru' the inspection. probably just a bot making those decisions.

I don't normally advocate immediate blamming of submissions, though this one is a heavy exception.
The flashing colors is a health hazard.
The music might just be copyright, unless of course you made it.
The gif of Vegeta doing the breakdance (which was super-imposed over the old gif of the guy breakdancing in a bear costume)
I'm going to assume this was a first - or second flash animation, hence, practice. I don't mean to deny you of your submission, I just think for a practice run, this one won't get too far in the portal, mainly because of the seizure-inducing flashing colors. Gotta put a warning on that, before hand.

What a blast!
What does this mean for future meet-ups, though? Someone was telling me Tom's going to work from home now, pretty much, so is there going to be a new office, or is that going to be a place for servers, or was I misled?
Whatever the case may be, we would like to attend next year, and WILL show, provided there's a 2015 meet up. Already have my wife packed.

thinking-man responds:

I definitely remember Tom mentioning a new office in a forum post, but IDK if that means any more parties or whatever.
